Book your sessions early. By booking early you can get a sale price.
Watch out for any promotions for new sessions. Photographers do new sessions all the time. Keep a look out and book those when you see them.
Sales. A lot of photographers post sales for the holidays. Be apart of their newsletter and stay up to date for when they have a sale.
Referral Programs. Be apart of their referral program. You can typically earn a free session by doing this. Also you can keep earning money off of sessions too.
Photography can be expensive both for the client and photographer. The equipment, training, props, insurance, taxes, and more goes into each session. You want a photographer who knows their camera and has experience in working with posing & lighting. Just because you are getting a sale or promotion does not mean you should skimp on the quality of a professional photographer.
